We transplanted 16 pumpkins plants and have started a few more for October and November harvest. We amended the sandy soil with compost from our compost bin and will mulch with old hay from the goat barn. We use drip irrigation on all our commercial plants and veggies. Let’s hope we can keep the deer at bay long enough to harvest them in a couple months.
